Tennis has been a passion of mine since 1986 when I was given my first racquet at the age of 6.  I guess I can blame my parents for my addiction as I had to watch from the sidelines in my younger years when they were playing tennis socially and competitively on a regular basis.  Having grown up on the Mornington Peninsula, tennis has helped me meet friends and get involved with the wider community.  In 1998, I began working as an assistant coach at various venues.  After attaining my Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach qualification in 2003, I became Head Coach at Tyabb Tennis Club in 2006 and Head of Tennis at Toorak College in 2009.  Tennis is a fabulous sport for health, recreation, and to fulfil one’s competitive drive.  My goal as a coach is to not only teach the fundamentals of the game and help players improve on strokes and strategy, but to also instil a passion and appreciation for the game that will hopefully last a lifetime.
